SABEU compiles customized production concepts for the assembly based on the specifications. They ensure high availability and a safe, economic production of the devices in clean rooms and controlled areas.
Concepts for:
- assembly lines
- rotary systems
- linear systems
- automatic high frequency testing
Processes:
- device assembly (fully automated, semi-automated or manual)
Depending on the device, different production steps such as welding, gluing, fastening, hot caulking, riveting and in-line tests – dimensional or visual inspections by means of camera systems – can be integrated into the assembly process.
Ultrasonic welding
High-frequency mechanical oscillations during ultrasonic welding cause interface friction in the joining zone. The heat required for welding is generated in the process and the material is plasticized.
Thermal bonding
The wax applied to the cardboard is liquefied by infrared waves and dissolves the seals on the cardboard. The heat makes the sealing ring adhere to the bottle neck. After cooling off, the lid is unscrewed from the bottle and the cardboard removed.
This type of bonding is used for sealing liquid filled containers.
Friction welding
Two mounted components are set into a turning motion. The stationary component is pressed against the other, thus heating up the welding points. The rotating component slowes down, creating a bond at the joining level.
Edge or over-molding
Edge molding typically involves the sealing of two clipped components by a secondary injection molding process, thus joining the components.
